Beat FM's Gbemi marks first commemoration of her shoe brand

The ladies' shoe line which was made for women with huge feet will likewise be dispatching its site and a television commercial.

Following an effective year, Nigerian radio presenter Gbemi Olagbegi-Olateru is celebrating the first anniversary of her shoe brand, ‘Gbémisókè Shoes’. The ladies shoe line which was created for ladies with enormous feet will also be launching its website and a television commercial.

Gbémisókè, which consists of flats, pumps, and mules, is made especially for women who wear size 42 and up. The host of Beat FM’s Drive Time Show will be celebrating this milestone with a few invited guests later this week.

Speaking on the reason behind creating Gbémisókè shoes, Gbemi commented; ‘For women like me, who wear size 42 and above, it is very difficult to find nice shoes. Stores rarely have big sizes available and when they do, they sell out quickly. After suffering from this issue for such a long time, I decided to proffer a solution for myself and other women with big feet, thus Gbémisókè Shoes was born’.

Gbemi has tried her hands on a lot of projects; she’s been a wedding MC, a music plugger, TV host, blogger, and event planner. She’s sold rechargeable fans, PG wall clocks, and what have you.

However, one year after she started making and selling her own shoe line, we suspect she’s found the love of her life.
