A couple of Nigerian celebrities are opting out for destination weddings mainly for the beautiful landscape and towers the country boasts of and also to have an exclusive wedding. And when they go for it, they took along with them a chunk of Nigerian entertainers such that anyone that do not attend must have good reasons. Check out your popular celebrities that had classy wedding in Dubai.

1. Annie and 2Baba Idibia

On March 23, 2013, 2Baba Idibia got married to his long term beau, Annie Macaulay. The glamorous wedding took place at the beachside of the famous 5-Star Jumeirah Beach Resort in Dubai.

The reception was held at the exotic Royal Island Beach while the wedding after party was held at Nigerian club, Kiza Nite Club. The wedding saw several a-list celebrities going to Dubai.

The couple dragged the Nigerian entertainment industry to their destination wedding. DJ Jimmy Jatt was on the steel and dished out danceable tunes. D’banj, Faze, Tony Tetuila and Sound Sultan were among the groomsmen while 2Baba’s childhood friend Larry Gaga was the best man.


2. Tiwa Savage and Tunji Balogun

Tiwa Savage and her estranged husband Tunji Balogun also known as Tee Billz got married on April 26, 2014. These celebrities showed they have influential friends with the roll call of celebrities that stormed Dubai for their wedding which was held in Armani hotel Burj Khalifa, Dubai.

Toke Makinwa, Toolz; Don Jazzy and the Mavin 2.0 acts including Dr Sid and his wife Simi Osomo, Tania Omotayo, Eku Edewor, Lola Omotayo, Tola Odunsi, Patoranking, Sheyi Shay, Kaffy were among others were at the wedding. DJ Exclusive supplied them music. Mr Capable, Banky w was Tee Billz’s best man.

3. Toolz and Tunde Demuren’s wedding

The most recent to join this list is Toolz and Captain tuned Demuren. Toolz had an exquisitely organised wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai.

Their wedding had in attendance their immediate family members, friends and popular figures in the entertainment industry such as Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Marcy Dolapo Sijuwade, Oreka Godis, Mai Atafo and others in attendance.

Banky W seems to be a master in Dubai weddings as he was the best man in the two out of these three Dubai destination celebrity weddings.  He was Tee Billz best man and Tunde Demuren’s best man. In the two weddings he had on white suits.
