Another senator dumps PDP, joins APC amid protest from colleagues

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members of the Nigerian Senate are currently protesting as one of them, John Enoh representing Cross River, defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Though real details of what led to his defection are still sketchy, Enoh said his decision was based on personal reasons.


It was learnt that his partners in the restriction gathering are not glad over the circumstance.

Some of them are grumbling that Enoh did not educate them before taking his choice to leave their overlap.

Notwithstanding the challenge be that as it may, Enoh was invited by the Senate President Bukola Saraki on the floor of the chamber.

The number of inhabitants in the PDP individuals in the Senate has been exhausting since 2015.

In January, 2017, Nelson Effiong, the senator representing Akwa Ibom South senatorial district, left the PDP and joined the APC. Also in February, another senator, Andy Uba representing Anambra South joined the APC reducing the number of PDP senators to 42, while that of APC has rose to 65.
