Obong Friday Akpan emerges Village Head of Ikot Obio Ndoho

Obong Friday Akpan had been chosen as the new village head of Ikot Obio Ndoho, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. The election which took place at the TRC Complex in Mkpat Enin council Headquarters saw Obong Akpan overcoming is adversary Obong Ukut by an overwhelming margin triumph. 

Talking not long after the race, the Paramount leader of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Edidem Akpan Ekpene said that the issue must be settled by the TRC since the family heads of Ikot Obio Ndoho couldn't choose a village head for themselves. He said his cabinet is enabled by the Akwa Ibom State Traditional Rulers Edict of 1990 to settle such cases by elections.

He likewise went ahead to compliment the champ and asked the other party to work with Obong Friday Akpan to advance Ikot Obio Ndoho.
