Fassou Antoine Pogba, the father of France and Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has kicked the bucket. 

As indicated by reports in France, Antoine Pogba kicked the bucket at 79 years old.

Le Parisien reports that the tragic news was affirmed to them by the family Friday night.

In March, Pogba had posted on Instagram a photograph of his dad on a doctor's facility bed as he gave him a birthday cake.

Pogba subtitled the picture on Instagram: “Happy birthday dear Dad, I feel blessed to be your son #pogdaddy #fighter #pogbance.”

Fassou is said to have been dealt with for a long haul ailment before his demise.

He showed up in the stands for France's draw with Switzerland amid Euro 2016, with his other two children Florentin and Mathias wearing shirts saying "Glad Father's Day" in French.

Pogba's dad seemed powerless however pleased to be in the company of his children.
