Following two years break, American Idol returns this month

Two years after the last scene was broadcast, ABC studios has achieved a concurrence with FremantleMedia to bring America Idols back. 

The understanding comes two years after the arrangement went off the air after 15 seasons on Fox. 

ABC studios reported the arrangement on today's scene of the "Good Morning America"show. 
The show will be scheduled sometime during the 2017-2018 television season, possibly on Sunday nights. It is unknown whether original host Ryan Seacrest will return as the host.
