Soccer star, Kevin-Prince Boateng weds model fiancee in Italy

Former Black Stars of Ghana and AC Milan midfielder,  Kevin-Prince Boateng, has exchanged marital vows with his model girlfriend in an elaborate ceremony in her native Italy.

The 29-year-old Ghana-born footballer and older brother of Bayern Munich defender, Jerome Boateng walked down the aisle with the TV presenter and Sports Illustrated model at the Stella Maris parish church in Porto Cervo, Sardinia where both Melissa, 30, and their two-year-old son Maddox were christened.

The couple were all smile as friends and family joined them to celebrate the solemnization of their union.

Their son was page boy for the ceremony, bringing the couple their Tiffany wedding rings.

Their big day had reportedly been postponed once as the couple said they wanted Maddox to be old enough to play a part.

The marriage ceremony was said to have been adjourned for a second time earlier this year after the couple experienced a rocky patch.

Similarly, former Barcelona FC striker and Africa’s most decorated football star, Samuel Eto’o Fils got married to his partner of many years, Georgette Tra Lou in Italy two weeks ago.
