Celebrated Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation

Celebrated Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has finally put pen on paper to a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation. Currently in New York, the deal that was being pushed by Marvin Records boss Don Jazzy has come through after a year of negotiations.

This is just be one of the major artists the record company will sign as they look out for talent in Africa coming from Jay Z who tweeted that director of strategies, Briant “Bee-High” Biggs had moved to Nigeria to look for fresh acts. It comes as no surprise that Roc Nation through Jay Z’s cousin, Briant “Bee-High” Biggs was already eyeing Ice Prince who revealed last year he was in talks with the record label.

All eyes are on Tiwa now to see what this deal will do for her and her fans.

‘Mavin X Roc Nation.’ Tiwa posted alongside the photo of her, Jay Z and Don Jazzy.

But it doesn’t end there. It’s up and up for the artist who will also have a mini documentary aired on popular entertainment channel E!

"I am so excited, HUGE platform. I watch E all the time and now I'll be watching my own mini documentary. When God says YES nobody can say no E! VIP airs on E! Channel 124 on 12th June at 9pm CAT," she posted on her Instagram a few hours ago.
